The original MoCo Juniors was founded in 2021 by Joe Lind and operates out of northern Montgomery County. Montgomery County has grown in size over the last 11 years, and is one of the fastest growing suburbs of Houston. MoCo Mavs is the newest addition to the MoCo family which will serve the southern part of the county and be housed out of the Community Fieldhouse off 99 and Riley Fuzzel. The MoCo Mavs vision was brought to life by Talicia Johnson and Mallori Howington who saw a need for a competitive volleyball program housed in a community environment.

MoCo MAVS will operate out of the Community Fieldhouse, which is a new family establishment set to open in November of 2023. The Community Fieldhouse and MoCo MAVS share the same vision of family involvement and the love of sports. The Community Fieldhouse is slated to open with 6 volleyball courts, 3 indoor basketball courts, indoor soccer fields, outdoor turf football fields, a full restaurant, and much more.
