coaching philosophy
I want to provide an environment for athletes to feel safe and welcome while training and teaching them to be better humans on and off the court. I want to give encouragement while also providing conductive criticism and teaching them how to receive and develop their skills. I am a passionate coach. Some times too passionate, but I am a strong believer in never giving up and pushing to the very end. If these young athletes can see how much I believe in them then they will start to believe in themselves.
Family, pets, hobbies
I am married and have 3 kids, 2 girls and a boy. We have 3 dogs and a cat. My family has a 200 acre ranch that is also a wildlife refuge. I love to be outdoors. In my spare time I like to woodwork, build furniture and restore/repurpose old furniture. Before getting married and having children I was involved in Sports Missions. I traveled mostly to South America witnessing to others through playing basketball and volleyball.
